Turn Earth for Turtle Doves is a photography project that illustrates the growing threat to British bird populations. In the past 50 years, there have been dramatic losses. In the UK, we have 67 critically endangered bird species. Turtle doves, to name one, are down 98%. To help tackle this issue, I combined research with photography and direct action. I collected information and produced images whilst doing voluntary work for conservation teams. The final product is a photobook that I hope will create engagement with the problem. Upon publishing, I plan to show the book to policymakers and urban planners.
